Q: How is Camp Pursuit responding to Covid-19?

We partner with local organizations to deliver Camp Pursuit, which means we provide safety guidelines and best practices for all in-person learning; however, each organization has the legal right or obligation to modify these protocols to meet local, state, or national guidelines. If you're concerned about in-person camps being cancelled, please don't be. We offer virtual options in addition to the in-person camp experience. Plus, we're super flexible, ready to move from in-person to virtual if needed.

If your local school or organization is hosting in-person, and you would like to be considered for virtual, please let us know. We will do our best to provide you access to virtual learning that help maintain the safety you desire.

Q: Who is Camp Pursuit for?

Camp Pursuit was created for any kid who is fueled by curiosity, loves to learn, and hungers for knowledge and engagement. Most camps are 1st-8th grade (some locations vary). Please confirm a camp’s age range on its information page.

Q: What makes Camp Pursuit unique?

Camp Pursuit is built by educators who genuinely love to learn!  We use our proprietary curriculum model to create one-of-a-kind, STEAM courses that blend storytelling with project-based, interdisciplinary study. 

All of our courses include built-in options for choice and accelerated materials, and every class is taught by a passionate Inspirator  who has been trained to work with a wide variety of students in mixed-aged classroom models.

Q: What can I expect from a virtual schedule? 

With an in-person camp, you drop your camper off and then know when to pick him or her up. However, with a virtual schedule, parents want to plan the best experience for their family. Here's the most important details, but let us know if you still have questions:

• There will be fun morning announcements, there will be daily mind/body challenges, and each course will contain 4-5 lessons EACH DAY with hands-on activities and projects. Plus, a trained adventure guide is there daily to take you questions and provide feedback/support.

• Every morning announcement, every class, and every lesson will be recorded and available for streaming during the duration of the camp. This means some kiddos may want to be on the computer right at 9am CST for the morning announcements and open the lessons the second they drop, while other campers may be traveling, face connectivity issues, or simply want to sleep in. The on-demand learning helps family schedule their day and screen time in a way that's appropriate for them.

• To help, we created two example schedules for campers. One schedule focuses on completing every course activity daily while the second schedule provides more flexibility, choosing which activities to complete.  

Q: Are there installment options?

Pricing varies by location and duration of the camp; however, many programs allow you to pay in installments. Check your location for more details.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

$50 from each registration cost is non-refundable as it helps us cover the cost of credit card fees, clerical work, scheduling, and ordering supplies.

Cancellation notice must be submitted via email to NuMindsAdmin@numien.com. Refund will be issued in the same manner payment was made. 100% of tuition paid (not including the $50 Registration Fee) will be refunded if written notice is received no later than four weeks prior to session start date.

Cancellations received within four or less weeks of session start date forfeit full tuition. 

We reserve the right to cancel a session date if participation numbers are not adequate. If your session is canceled, you may select an alternative session date or request a full refund (including registration). Any cancellations of sessions will occur a minimum of four weeks prior to the session.

Q: How do I get a Camp Pursuit near me?

Are you too far from the fun? We ordered a flying drone bus from Amazon, but until it gets here, what we do is partner with schools to bring Camp Pursuit to you.

We make the process simple, we hire locally, and we even offer profit sharing to help schools raise funds to keep for themselves. Simply let us know who to reach out to, and we will do our best to bring Camp Pursuit to a school near you!
