Easy AnswerWe write multi-age courses for kids, ranging from 5 to 15. The courses are not easy, but they are really fun and designed to adapt to the learning environment, which provides engaging enrichment to students around the world. Plus, every course integrates elements of STEAM, promoting the 21st century skills of Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.
Technical AnswerUsing our patented Bamboo Curriculum model, content is aligned to state and national standards in NSES, STEM Dimensions, and CCSS (individual state alignment completed on demand). Mastery is measured through a standards-based grading (SBG) approach supported by holistic rubrics. SBG is conducive for the wide variety of tasks each program includes, which we create with the support of content experts and then reverse engineer to provide scaffolded 5/7E instruction. This explicit scaffolding supports mixed-age (multi-grade) delivery as well as student engagement through our narrative-based elicit stage. Our focus on the aesthetic and human experience explains our preference for STEAM learning as well as the narrative allowing for flexible interest differentiation. If these paragraphs made any sense to you, and you're interested in supporting curriculum development as a content expert, curriculum writer, or story teller, we'd love to hear from you!
Weird AnswerAlien-invasion design challenges, neuroscience brain training camp with Sergent Smarts, time-traveling detectives and quantum security systems within the Ministry of Possibilities, squishy surgery, Santa IoT monitoring, Greek Gods decorating their thrones, electromagnetic pocket monsters, anatomy of a joke, probability carnivals, stop motion movie making, Professor Nelson the Godzilla Chairman of the Board with a degree in urban development, Kepler transport and habitation, mummies, EDM, Fibonacci, a sentient Roomba riding a dolphin towards manifest destiny, and The SuperCow of hoof and poo coming to save the world from udder destruction.
